Albus shifted on the spot as she made her way over to him, praying to Merlin she wouldn’t hex him. “I never claimed to know your life,” he told her quietly. He certainly didn’t want to say the wrong thing around her so he was careful with his words. “Obviously you have a sad story, a hard one. Otherwise you wouldn’t be like… this,” he muttered, not making eye contact. “Whatever happened… you shouldn’t be so cold to people. They might only want to help you,” he pointed out politely.
Angel looked at his, her eyes scanned him from head to toe. Her lips curved into a smirk. She decided to take a few more steps towards him, she was inches away from his face. She got closer and whispered into his ear, “And why would someone want to help out someone so cold, bitter, cunning?” She asked, as one hand played with the ends of her hair. She slowly backed up, and took one hand to have his face turn to her, so that their eyes meet with one another. “In this world people have the decision to be cold or sweet, I tend to be cold and bitter, unless you’re really close to me. But no one really knows me so well. My story, is a secret from others and only those who prove themselves trustworthy…” Her voice faded for a brief second at she looked at the ground, then back at him. “Can hear my story.” She told him, finishing her sentence.
Albus tried not to flinch or hunch his shoulders up as she spoke in his ear. He wanted to fumble for his wand but he knew that would only put her on defense. “Because that someone might see the reason behind the cold exterior,” he told her honestly. He’d seen it lots of times with Scorpius, he’d put on a mask and disguise his emotions but after five years in the same dorm Albus had learned to read him pretty well. He swallowed, eyelids fluttering in nervousness as she turned his face towards her. Her eyes were stone cold and her face was stoic. “And what makes them trustworthy?” he asked hoarsely, resisting the urge to bolt.

Albus blinked as she turned to walk away, feeling somewhat helpless and defeated. He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets, making his way over to his pile of books when he heard her call out something else. He turned round to face her. “Story?” he repeated, somewhat softly though loud enough for her to hear him. “What are you talking about?” he frowned slightly.
Angel chuckled just a little, finding amusement in this. She stopped walking and walk over to him again, with a smirk across her face. “The story of your life. The story that makes you who you are. Your background. That’s what the meaning means, you know my name. Meaning you know the person’t name. But you don’t know their life or anything like that.” Her voice was a lot more serene and calm, but not fully. “Now my story can not be told.” She told him as her voice became serious and just a bit harsh. Her story was basically her secret and only some were trustworthy enough, while others would still have to wait and see. They were lucky enough for her to tell than to be more cruel and bitter.
